Join us to close out DC Plant Week for a "Beneficial Insect Basics" class with DMV Beneficials, a non-profit collective that works to educate and inspire the plant community to make informed and effective pest management decisions using beneficial insects instead of chemical pesticides.
This class is ideal for someone who has never used beneficial insects before and knows little to nothing about them. We will go over why we use beneficial insects instead of pesticides, what to expect, pest ID, which predator insects are best for our houseplant pests, how to apply them and specific treatment plans for active pest issues or for use as pest prevention. Participants will receive a little package of preventative insects to take home with them and a 4" plant from PLNTR to take home to test out their new found knowledge!
